This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through liveedgemarketing.com and our workshops, online courses, and consulting services (together, the "Services"), why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.

This policy applies to visitors to our website, workshop and course participants, consulting clients, newsletter subscribers, and anyone who submits a form on our site or contacts us directly. Live Edge is a small, Kalispell, Montana-based consultancy — we collect only the data reasonably needed to run our business and serve our clients well.

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what is collected automatically, and what we receive from third parties.

  • Information you provide directly — name, email, phone number, business name, and any details you share through a contact form, workshop registration, course enrollment, brand discovery questionnaire, or consulting engagement.
  • Payment information — when you register for a workshop, buy an online course, or pay an invoice, payment is processed by our payment processor(s) HubSpot Payments, QuickBooks, or Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers ourselves.
  • Information collected automatically — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source, collected via cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
  • Information from third parties — for example, if you are referred to us by a partner (such as [Wascholz Business and Innovation Center, a salon, or a brokerage]), or if you interact with our content on a third-party platform such as LinkedIn or Instagram.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver the Services you've requested — running a workshop, granting course access, scheduling a consulting session, generating a Brand Foundation, or fulfilling a contract
  • To process payments and maintain business records (via QuickBooks Online and our payment processor)
  • To communicate with you — registration confirmations, workshop reminders, course access details, and responses to inquiries
  • To send marketing emails and newsletters, where you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email
  • To improve our website, workshops, and courses based on aggregate usage patterns
  • To maintain the security of our website and systems, and to comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers — we use HubSpot (CRM, email, forms, scheduling, payments), QuickBooks Online (accounting), Google Analytics / analytics tool (site analytics), and Google Workspace (email and forms). Each provider processes data under its own privacy and security terms, and only to help us deliver the Services.
  • Legal reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Live Edge, our clients, or others
  • Business transfers — if Live Edge Marketing is ever acquired, merged, or sells assets, client information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or its successor.
  • With your direction — for example, if a Tier 3 consulting engagement requires sharing data with a client's own systems or team, we'll do so only as agreed with you

5. Data Retention

We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and tax records, and comply with legal obligations — generally 7 years for financial/consulting records, or until you unsubscribe/request deletion for marketing contacts. You can request deletion of your data at any time; see Section 7.

6. Cookies and Tracking

7. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you're located, we're happy to honor reasonable requests about your personal data. You can:

8. Children's Privacy

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data, including relying on established, security-conscious platforms (HubSpot, Google Workspace, QuickBooks Online) for storage and processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Healthcare & Wellness Client Data (HIPAA Note)

For Tier 3 clients in healthcare and wellness, we do not collect, store, or handle protected health information (PHI) as part of our marketing services. Any client data shared with us for analytics or marketing purposes is de-identified and handled in accordance with the HIPAA guidance in our Brand Guidelines and any relevant client agreement.

11. International Visitors

Live Edge Marketing is based in Montana, USA, and our Services are directed at a U.S. audience. If you access our Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
